At Seventh Ave, EmilyRae led brand strategy and messaging for Bird & Trove, a premium gifting company offering build-your-own boxes of curated goods.
EmilyRae shaped the strategic core, developed the brand’s voice, and designed a refined visual identity under the direction of the agency’s Art Director. Her work helped Bird & Trove launch as a distinct presence in the modern gifting space.

EmilyRae crafted the company’s core statements, tone-of-voice guidelines, personality positioning, and messaging to align every touchpoint.


EmilyRae led the internal naming exploration process, developing a custom curriculum used within the agency to guide research and strategy. She also developed the brand tagline and shared key research insights with the client as part of Bird & Trove’s brand development.

After numerous roughs, EmilyRae also developed a custom logo to express the craftsmanship and care of Bird & Trove.

EmilyRae designed a flexible, simplistic identity system with packaging concepts and custom pattern designs.





EmilyRae led site-wide copywriting and provided thoughtful feedback on UI and eCommerce UX to support a seamless customer journey.
